While I am ALL for Breast Feeding mommies, and being able to do it in public, and on airlines ect. I am not comfortable with this new toy at all.

I am a mom of all boys, and being such I pay very little attention to anything girl related as far as toys go. However when I saw this thing, I took notice and immediately came here to see what all of you think about it?

Personally I think it is sad, inappropriate, and possibly disgusting to market a toy that encourages our young girls to grow up too quickly. I understand it is created and marketed by a European company, I also understand they are more open about many things that Americans are not comfortable with. I just don’t get this toy.

This gluttonous baby is 50 cm (19.6 inches) long, the average length of a real newborn and is available in either gender. There’s no word yet on whether the boy is anatomically correct. The dolls retail for about 44 Euro.

There is a flower adorned halter top you tie around the child, and then they can hold the baby and it will begin ti mimic nursing actions and sounds. It is said to also cry for more milk, as well as when it needs burped.
